How to best prepare for your home visit

4.png
  1. Make sure to keep the cat indoors !

  2. Create a calm environment . Avoid having other visitors at the same time as the veterinary appointment.

  3. It is always a good idea to limit hiding places , for example by closing the doors to certain rooms.

For some cats , it may be advisable to be isolated in a room without hiding places (e.g. bathroom) 5 minutes before the appointment.

  4. Bring a large bath towel . This can be useful in some cases if restraint is required .

Usually, the first part of the appointment is dedicated to questions about your cat's health. We avoid keeping the cat occupied during this time... This allows them to get used to the new visit!

The physical examination can be done on a kitchen counter or directly on the floor ... depending on your preference and your cat's! The height of the kitchen table is not comfortable for the lower back!
