How to best prepare for your cat's home ultrasound
Prepare the area
Here are some instructions to prepare for a home ultrasound appointment:

Choose a dark room

The two installation options :
Standing : stable surface at the height of a kitchen or bathroom counter (e.g. washing machine, laundry desk).
OR
Two seats.

Ideally, you should be able to position yourself on either side , with space at the cat's head to place the laptop-sized device.
Prepare your cat
Here are some general instructions regarding your cat:

Fasting from food for 8 to 12 hours before the appointment. He must have access to water at all times.

Remove access to the litter box at least 2 hours before the appointment to allow for proper bladder assessment.

A sedative is almost always required, either oral, injectable, or both!

We will shave your cat's belly before performing the ultrasound.
